Hotel de Salcedo, Vigan Review

Aug 7, 2013

Last year, September 18, 2012, we had a tour in Ilocos and stayed in Hotel Salcedo de Vigan for our first night. We arrived at exactly 5:55 am and the sun was already up. It's located a street away from Calle Crisologo.

From the outside, the hotel already made me smile. You see, I'm fond of vintage things especially vintage houses and Hotel de Salcedo just made me fall in love.

The hotel was very classic looking. I love the touch and feel of the flooring, the doors, the interiors... everything! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Their wifi was great too.

The room was spacious and the air conditioning was good. The place was quite and they have cable!

We weren't able to try out the meals in their Cafe/Restaurant because we spent the entire day exploring Vigan. We only got to taste their breakfast (as included in our hotel booking), but I wasn't able to eat much because I don't eat longganisa. Hehe.

Some of the people I was with during the tour complained how creepy the place was. I don't know why they find it creepy because I totally find it gorgeous... gorgeous in a vintage way. Hehe.
