Spectrum Fair Manila

Sep 9, 2015

'Ber months are here and you know what it means... Bazaars here and there! But did you know there's a new lifestyle fair in Manila that not only showcases great brands that speaks of creativity and passion, but also provides good entertainment and yummy food! This fair makes shopping experience more fun for both family and friends in a very cozy ambiance!

I'm talking about Spectrum Fair Manila which was organized by a beautiful mother-daughter team, Mrs. Pia & Ms. Alyssa Arellano.

According to their Facebook event page:
Spectrum is envisioned to be not just an enjoyable shopping experience where one can score a mix of classic and new cutting edge finds but an event where one can linger and lounge with family and friends. Great shopping, hearty food and cool entertainment in a rustic garden setting – that is the Spectrum promise.
You can already feel the vibe as you enter the fair which by the way was held in Whitespace Makati. The side of the entrance was filled with artworks for sale and a few tables and chairs for customers to eat, sit and rest in.

The first booth I dropped by in was Sushi Nori's booth. Sushi Nori is the first temakeria in the Philippines. They serve delicious sushi and temaki rolls. They can be found in SM Aura Food on Four. You can follow their Facebook and Instagram accounts to know where their next #SushiNoriToGo would be. Know more about them in my next post soon!

After Sushi Nori's booth, I began going around the fair. Well of course, you wouldn't miss this beautiful booth of ARANAZ by the gorgeous Amina Aranaz Alunan.

You wouldn't also miss Soak Artisan Soap not only because it's located near the entrance, but also because the scents of their products would capture your sense of smell. They specialize in moisturizing soaps made with 45% Olive Oil and Tussah Silk.

The next eye-catching booth near the entrance was The Olive Tree Corporation's booth. Who would miss seeing these beautiful designed pillows, right? The Olive Tree offers products from specialty pillows to lifestyle items like small pouches with these kind of designs.

Next is the well-known fashion brand over the internet, Lulu Swing. I have been wanting to order from them however, I always worry about the size. So I what I did was I checked my size on the footwear I'm eyeing to buy and will just be ordering via online once they have replenished their stocks for the color and size I prefer. I ended buying their cord holder instead.

Near it, a modern barkitecture & pet furniture will catch your eyes: Bow House. According to their Facebook page... "Our philosophy is simple. We love dogs as much as we love good design. Dog crates and pet beds need not be an eyesore. Our goal is to bring modern barkitecture to Manila and make pet furniture the centerpiece of your home." I can actually imagine some of the well-loved or should I say spoiled pets (hehe!) enjoying these cozy beds! If these were bigger, I would have loved to just lay on these too!

Further down was the Succulents by Sab booth. I have been seeing friends and the other Instagram users I follow post their succulents which made me wonder what's with it that everyone's trying to own one. And before I understood the reason behind it, I ended up purchasing one for myself! Haha! I guess I'll make a separate blog about it soon.

I also came across this brand I'm very unfamiliar with: Quiver by beachshack, inc. They offer fashion apparels such as dresses, coverups, etc. These rolled up pieces are either a beach towel/blanket or their so-called Mandala Throw. You can check their Instagram (http://instagram.com/quiver.ph/) how it looks when unrolled.

Because this fair do not just showcase fashion and home/living items but also creative products such as these arts from Woodarts MNL. I will be featuring them in this blog in the next days so please do watch out for it. For now, feel free to visit and follow them in Instagram.

As I was checking the cool artworks, this bag from the next booth have captured my attention. From a far, I could already tell that this was woven and that fact made me more interested with the brand. These are from Vela Manila. Know more about them too in the coming days.

On the other aside of the place, I saw this very cutesy booth from Little Luli! If you're have a child or at least love children, you will love their clothes and accessories for kids! Especially the dresses for princesses!

As cute as the above booth is this bedroom like booth by Cool Girls Club! They sell awesome prints, patches and notebooks with illustrations done by Ms. Dans Bermejo.

Last but definitely not the least is the Iconic Statement Stocks. Who said that socks have to be boring, right? Just like accessories and clothes, why don't we express ourselves through socks too!

Overall Experience at Spectrum Fair Manila

I didn't expect the fair to be that exciting! Unlike the usual bazaars I've been to which was just about trendy fashion items, Spectrum Fair Manila offered a lifestyle fair for both the young and young at heart. They have showcased brands from the food industry down to the home & living!

The ambiance of the entire fair was very cozy and well-organized. The brands that participated did a really good job in presenting their products through their booth designs. This is the kind of fair that we should always go to!

I'm already looking forward the next Spectrum Fair! If you've missed this event, you better not miss the next! Like and watch out for updates from the Spectrum Fair team through their Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/spectrumfair).

Which among these brands did you like best?
