Chemworld Fragrance Factory is NOW OPEN in Fairview Terraces

Feb 13, 2016

Fragrance is as important as how we aim to look good when we dress up. Our scent completes the entire outfit and moreover, it helps uplift not only our moods but also the moods of other people around us. Isn't it amazing at how a scent somehow expresses our personality also?

There are a lot of fragrances available in the market. Usually, the designer ones are the most expensive which lasts longer than the affordable ones. I remember receiving a Versache's Baby Rose Jean's perfume bottle from my Ate Richie but I had to really control my usage. It smells so good and it lasts long on both cloth and skin. After using the perfume for months, it somehow became my scent. There was one time when I lost my handkerchief at school and my classmates knew it was mine not because of the design of the fabric but because of its smell.

After finishing the entire bottle, I wanted to buy it again. That time, I knew I found my forever scent but because it was quite pricey, I couldn't afford it. I had to give up the scent I was known for. But luckily now, there's Chemworld Fragrance Factory, a store that makes it easier for people like me, who can't afford, to own scents similar to those designer perfumes.

They have recently opened their 14th branch in Fairview Terraces on February 11, 2016 which also marks as their 3rd CFF Quezon City branch. I was one of the lucky bloggers invited to witness this milestone of the company.

A Brief Background

Chemworld Marketing Corp. is a chemical distribution company established in 1985 by chemist Fred C. Reyes. With reputation as a reliable and trusted source of specialty ingredients, fragrances and flavors, Chemworld supplies most of the major multinational and local companies in the Philippines through the years.

Chemworld Fragrance Factory, a division of Chemworld Marketing Corp., is driven by its mission to assist potential entrepreneurs realize their dream to be financially independent by providing high quality training, complete and affordable supplies and continuing guidance in perfumery business.

What They Offer

Chemworld Fragrance Factory is known as the one-stop-shop for perfumery supplies. They offer fragrance and essential oils, perfume pre-mixes, perfume bottles, perfumery excipients and base components, laboratory glassware and other packaging material such as boxes, labels and more.

They also offer "no secret" perfume making seminars and hands-on workshops in all branches, teaching participants how to create high quality fine fragrances as good as some expensive designer fragrances. Since 2004, they have trained thousands of successful entrepreneurs.

The seminars go beyond teaching perfume making. They include discussions on street-smart marketing strategies based on actual experiences, defining market niche, costing and pricing. The seminar and workshop are free if you purchase their Starter Kits. But if you just prefer their seminar, there's a minimal fee of Php500.

The invitation for a free seminar and workshop came to us as a surprise after the ribbon cutting. I was having second thoughts because of the travel time I needed to consider (from Fairview to Cavite). I'm very glad that I decided to stay as I learned quite a lot from the seminar. I was even able to produce a 100mL perfume!

Since the scent I want is not available with them, I chose Victoria Secret's Pure Seduction instead. While the other bloggers have chosen Paris Hilton, Green Tea, Dolce and Happy inspired fragrances. Pure Seduction is one of those perfumes I had the chance to try but never got to own. I have to chill it for 7 days first before I can start using it. I'm excited to smell how it turned out!

We had a very pleasant experience with Chemworld Fragrance Factory. Learning to mix and produce perfumes for yourself (or better yet, for business) is honestly not in my bucket list this year but made it in my memorable events and experiences board this year.
